Overview: We are seeking a Senior Supply and Logistics Specialist to support the U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier ROC. This role manages logistics policies, inventory management, and material requirements to mitigate constraints for CVN operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Administration: Plan and direct logistics policies and readiness requirements, ensuring inventory management guidelines are met.
Constraint Mitigation: Identify and mitigate critical supply constraints and technical delays that impact shipboard work completion.
Modernization Support: Provide logistics support for Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) and track deliverables for shipboard modernization.
Technical Validation: Review part numbers and national stock numbers to assess Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) impacts on the fleet.
Dashboard Management: Develop and maintain the Habitability and Supply dashboards for Carrier Readiness Calls (CRCs).
Configuration Integrity: Interface with configuration data managers to ensure ship configuration and ILS records are accurate.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics policy, supply constraint mitigation, and technical review of logistics data.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory/warehouse management for CVNs undergoing overhauls or decommissioning.
Proficiency with Navy supply programs: IHS Haystack, OneTouch, FEDLOG, CDMD- OA, and NDE.
Recent technical management experience with CVN logistics and supply requirements (within the last 5 years).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
