Senior Systems Developer – Full-Stack React/Node, Azure Cloud Modernization & Government IT Solutions Montpelier, Vermont (Remote)

Required Skills:

Experience developing with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and/or Next.js

Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL for data modeling, queries, and performance tuning

Hands-on experience deploying and supporting solutions in the Azure Cloud platform

Experience integrating Okta authentication and authorization within React/Node applications in Azure

Familiarity with MS Access 2016 and VBA to support legacy systems during modernization

Proven experience working in Agile environments using Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog, sprint, and release management

Completion of HIPAA and PII compliance training before assignment

Preferred Skills:

Strong ability in requirements refinement, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication

Demonstrated success in cross-team collaboration with State IT or similar environments

Prior project experience in government, healthcare, or child services IT systems

Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PII, FedRAMP)

Experience working in large-scale modernization or legacy system migration projects

Specific Skills:
