Position Overview:
This is a key role in our firm with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities and grow into a leadership position. You’ll handle a broad range of accounting and tax responsibilities, while also having a voice in business strategy, client management, and firm operations. This role is ideal for someone who is not just looking for a job—but a long-term career home where they can make an impact and work toward becoming a partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns

• Manage month-end and year-end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation

• Provide strategic financial, tax planning, and advisory support to clients

• Oversee client engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and satisfaction

• Stay updated on federal and state tax laws and regulations

• Identify opportunities to expand client services and firm growth

• Mentor junior staff and help foster a strong, collaborative team culture

• Participate in firm-wide strategic planning and business development initiatives

Qualifications:

• CPA license required and in good standing

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation or Accounting a plus

• 4–5 years of public accounting experience, preferably in a small- to mid-sized firm

• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and other tax software

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in firm operations and growth

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

• Desire to take ownership of client relationships and long-term success
