About the Role:

Rader & Rader PC is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Tax Accountant (CPA) to join their team in Avon, IN. Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts, and corporations

Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio

Research and interpret current tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Identify tax savings opportunities and minimize liabilities through proactive planning

Contribute to the overall success of the firm and staff by promoting efficient execution throughout the engagement while cultivating positive client relationships

Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and correspondence

Prepare and review financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Communicate with partners, staff, and clients to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting

Manage multiple client requests in an efficient and timely manner

Requirements:

Active CPA license required

5+ years of public accounting or tax experience

Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar), Word and Excel

Strong knowledge of federal and Indiana state tax codes and regulations

Demonstrate ownership of work assigned and take the initiative to complete the work assigned in a timely manner

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Display the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to clients & staff in a respectful and professional manner

Maintain regular and reliable attendance
