About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Weinstein & Formanek PC, CPAs as a Senior Tax Prep Accountant in Mamaroneck, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your tax expertise and contribute to our clients' financial success. Must be within 20 miles of Mamaronek, NY . Per-Diem and/or permanent part-time.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance.

Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.

Research tax issues and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

Assist clients with IRS audits and inquiries.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in tax software and PROSYSTEMS FX

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
