Job Responsibilities Include
Tax & Advisory
Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and multi-state returns
Perform tax research and assist with planning
Prepare required disclosures and stay current on tax law changes
Accounting & Client Support
Work in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and other systems
Assist with month-end close and financial statements
Improve client accounting processes and provide direct client support
Complex / Specialized Work
Potential exposure to accounting method changes (3115), foreign reporting, multi-state issues, audit support, and retirement plan strategy
General Accounting
Some hands-on accounting and light bookkeeping due to our non-siloed structure

Compensation & Benefits
$75,000+ base salary (flexible based on experience)
Overtime pay (uncapped)

Minimum Requirements
CPA license (Michigan) or actively working toward CPA licensure
At least 2 years of experience at a CPA firm preferred
Strong tax and accounting skills
QuickBooks and Excel proficiency
Excellent communication and service-oriented mindset
