Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to provide advanced technical and analytic support to the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR). This role is critical in the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of structured Integrated Tests (IT) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of U.S. Navy combat systems. Responsible for the accreditation and application of Modeling and Simulation (M&S), management of required databases, and production of all related technical documentation. May be required to attend stakeholder meetings to represent the government customer and provide other related deliverables as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience as 1) U.S. Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force Rotary Wing/Tiltrotor Pilot; or 2) Defense Industry or Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) engineer or system analyst
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of statistics
Eligible for DoD Secret security clearance
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
Operational Test Agency experience (Marine Corps Test and Evaluation Activity, Operational Test and Evaluation Force, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, Army Test and Evaluation Center, Director Operational Test and Evaluation)
Experience working with Navy Systems Commands or OPNAV N9
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I T&E Certification
Military Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience
Navy H-60 or Marine H-1 Pilot
Security Requirements:
Must possess or be eligible for a SECRET security clearance.
Specific security requirements will be detailed in a DD254 provided at the task order level.
