Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides data entry and analysis support for Color Group North American operation primarily in DevEx, JDE and TraceGains.  Responsible for the governance of raw material, packaging, services and reaction chemical data, address book and item master in DevEx, Tracegains and in Sensient JD Edwards system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Write and maintain COGNOS and PowerBi reports and dashboards.

·         Work with Supply Chain to pull data for performance analysis to generate process/financial improvements.

·         Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

·         Use SQL, Oracle, Python or other programing languages to prepare and present data in a way that is visually appealing and simple for clients to navigate and comprehend.

·         Responsible for entry of finished goods, raw material, customer and vendor data in appropriate systems. Including but not limited to TraceGains, DevEx and JD Edwards.

·         Maintain contact with manufacturing sites to ensure consistent application of finished goods and raw material data.

·         Support Master Data Manager in changes and mass data updates for items, finished goods, and raw materials,

·         Validate changes in customers, vendors and related items.

·         Identify potential improvement opportunities and subsequent communication with local process owners or management. 

·         Provide backup assistance for data clean-up.

·         Responsible for data accuracy, data integrity checks and assuring consistent master data administration processes and improvements within Colors entities.

·         Create and maintain master data and business unit level data as required.

·         Verify and approve all mass uploads of manufacturing, customer and vendor data at manufacturing sites

·         Manage approval for routing changes and completion of master data views with business owners. 

·         Make daily decisions concerning master data elements and the application of business rules, policy, and strategy.

·         Responsible for assuring consistent master data administration processes.

·         Update and maintain needed DevEx and JDE training and SOP documentation.

·         Maintain policies for master data objects and views

·         Other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Computer Science.  In lieu of degree 5 years relevant work experience required.   

·         Minimum one to three years of related experience in data analysis, report creation, validation and maintenance.

·         Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

·         SQL/ COGNOS 1 year  experience preferred

·         Tableau / PowerBi  1 year experience preferred

·         JDE experience preferred

·         Knowledge of TraceGains and Devex preferred

·         Strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.

·         Has demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
