Sensyrtech is an Industrial IoT company out of HoWe are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team! You will supervise and coordinate all activities of the sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring veteran experience to a new sales team - help build out procedures and best sales practices
- Build lead generation pipelines, work with existing B2B databases and suggest new ones for email campaigns.
- Directly deal source, acquire, and close new leads.
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Establish sales goals and metrics
- Train and evaluate employees
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
- Work with HR to recruit top-tier talent
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Several years of experience in previous sales roles, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Experience in manufacturing sector - contacts in this industry and understanding of terminology, workflows, and operations of industrial firms.
- Veteran leadership skills to take charge of a new sales team.
- INITIATIVE - ability to do your own research and suggest best ways forward.
- Passion - drive to put in the extra effort to help close business.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms or related software
- Flexibility - May require cross-state travel
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Experience in the IoT industry - high tech, telecomms, or communications equipment and experience selling products of this nature.
- Previous work with or for companies in the energy sector - oil and gas, down-mid-upstream centric firms. Hydrocarbon exploration, natural gas exploration, oil/gas field operations experience.
