Sentience Psychological Services, PLLC is an outpatient psychological clinic, serving clients who reside in Arizona. We have a strong group of treatment providers who value professionalism, kindness, and intellectual curiosity. We currently have an opening for a full-time associate-level Counselor. This position is open to individuals who already have an associate-level license (including a temporary license) in Arizona: Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). You must have a master's degree that is focused on psychological counseling. Our therapists only work with adults. There are two primary opportunities. First, therapists can provide treatment for individuals in our central Phoenix office. Second, therapists can provide therapy to individuals residing in long-term care facilities all around the Phoenix area. Clients are clustered together so that the therapist does not spend their day driving. Rather, they commute to one location and stay there for most of the day. We assign locations based on the therapist's residence so as to reduce the commute time. The current need is for a therapist to primarily provide therapy services in our Central Phoenix office, which can be a mix between in-person and telehealth. There is potentially a need for 1 day in the long-term care setting. Sentience Psychological Services employs several other clinicians who are in various stages of development. We have both master's and doctoral-level clinicians on staff. The majority of supervision that is offered is conducted by Clinical Psychologists. This provides a great learning opportunity!
