    Job Description and Duties

Sales Specialists are the front lines in assuring our customers feel loved from first point of contact and through the entire lifecycle. Sales Specialists are empowered to guarantee a positive and fluid experience by working to save our customers' most valuable commodity, time. This especially skilled person is core to the overall financial health of each community by leasing available homes quickly to limit vacancy loss at the highest net rent. Sales Specialists are also responsible for marketing the property, preparing lease documents and screening prospective residents to qualify them.

    • First and foremost, duty will be upholding Sentral's core and truest value of excellence in customer service
    • Establish rapport with residents and guests so they always feel loved
    • Oversee and coordinate welcoming new residents
    • Assist with office management and clerical tasks
    • Provide backup for concierge team and homeshare efforts related to guest check-ins and outs
    • Uphold Sentral standards, best practices, policies and procedures
    • Record and update details of prospective residents, current residents, and guests in the property management software in a timely and detailed manner
    • Complete opening and closing procedures
    • Inform maintenance team of any need for repair or cleaning
    • Advertise available homes and conduct property tours as part of marketing activities
    • Complete lease applications and assist with verification of application information; inform prospective residents of results
    • Liaise with residents and guests to provide information and address their questions and concerns
    • Maintain and store documentation effectively
    • Accept rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
    • Follow all local, city and federal regulations
    • Assist in conducting market surveys and shop competitive communities
    • Cross-sell other Sentral communities in Centralized Sales model
    • This position is located at the designated community. Must be able to commute to designated community for scheduled working hours.

    Skills and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college preferred
    • Must have experience in Luxury Communities
    • Minimum of 3-years of experience in a customer service-related industry and 3-years of apartment leasing experience or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred
    • Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability
    • Demonstrated ability to support and contribute to community team
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Great time management skills
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools
    • Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
    • Willingness to participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
    • Must be neat, clean and professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community
    • Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem
