We are seeking reliable and experienced Unarmed Security Officers with an interest in advancing to Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. These security officers will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. This is a Full Time 40 hour per week position. The pay rate for this position will start at $17/hr and will become $18/hr upon completion of Armed Security License.

Responsibilities:

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes

Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:

An Active DCJS Unarmed Private Security License is required

Highly preferred 2 years of prior security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience

Must be capable of meeting physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs

Strong attention to detail

First Aid and CPR/AED certified
