We are currently accepting applications for full-time Unarmed Special Conservators of the Peace. These officers will transport behavioral health patients using specially equipped transport vehicles throughout the Northern Virginia area. This is an advanced position. Candidates must have a demonstrated work history in one or more of the following fields:

Military

Police

Corrections

Fire & Rescue

Candidates without a demonstrated or verifiable work history in one of the above listed fields are not eligible for this position.

Additional Information:

Candidates must also be available "on-call." Health insurance benefits will be offered for qualifying candidates after a minimum of a 90 day probationary period. The Company will also pay for the successful candidate's training to obtain their Special Conservator of the Peace registration from DCJS, as well as to guide each applicant through the Circuit Court appointment process. The company will also provide each candidate with additional training, such as MOAB de-escalation training and other training courses. Candidates who posses these certifications already are highly desired.

Candidates who have worked as Special Conservators of the Peace in Virginia previously are highly desired.

Candidates must have strong customer service skills and MUST work well with others and in a team environment. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and be friendly and outgoing, while maintaining strict boundaries with client staff and visitors. Candidates must have an aptitude for helping others.

Candidates must be technologically and computer savvy and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.

Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years of prior public safety experience in law enforcement, the military, or corrections. Applications received without verifiable evidence of sufficient prior experience will not be considered. Applicants must also have a stable work history (no "job-hopping") and be prepared to justify gaps in employment history (if applicable).

Candidates MUST have a clean driving and criminal record, no exceptions. Applicants with excessive traffic violations or any at-fault accidents within the past 36 months on their Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will not be considered for employment.
