Responsibilities: • Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision • Clean up work area once project is finished • Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer • Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding • Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers • Painting interior of units (walls, ceiling trim) • Repair drywall • Exterior painting and caulking (Decks, porches, trim, soffits, and facia) • Power washing • Staining Qualifications: • 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required • Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training What we expect from you: • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated painting experience • Possession of personal tools (larger items such as ladders will be provided) • Proficiency in using a smartphone and navigating our work order platforms • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation • Honesty and ability to work with minimal supervision • Adaptability to flexible working hours if needed • Commitment to full-time employment (not suitable for contractors) • Capability to complete time cards and accurately track individual man-hours and materials per job. Compensation: $20 to $28 per hour
