    JOB DESCRIPTION

    POSITION TITLE: Server Assistant REPORTING TO: General Manager/ Front of House Manager FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Part-Time LAST UPDATED: May 2025

    JOB SUMMARY The Server Assistant position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining room and patio service areas. This team member provides behind-the-scenes assistance to servers by maintaining cleanliness, restocking essentials, and supporting guest service needs. This position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with some flexibility.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Fill and refill guest water glasses promptly

    Stock and maintain all server stations, including patio water stations

    Roll silverware for use during service

    Rotate, organize, and restock clean glassware

    Refill and restock soda stations and supplies

    Downtime Tasks:

    Conduct restroom checks for cleanliness and supplies

    Wipe down and organize server trays

    Refill salt, pepper, sugar, and condiment containers

    Brew and maintain fresh coffee supply

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    Prior restaurant or hospitality experience a plus but not required

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    Positive attitude and team-first mindset

    Willingness to take direction and follow through with minimal supervision

    Dependable and punctual

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

    Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

    Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting

    Fast-paced restaurant environment with variable noise levels and temperature changes
