JOB SUMMARY: Butcher & Bee is a vegetable driven, middle-eastern inspired restaurant in East Nashville that opened in 2015. We value community and hospitality above all else - extending it to our customers, co-workers, suppliers, and neighbors. We're seeking experienced Server Assistants to join the team!
Server assistants are the backbone of our operations, supporting the server team with all tasks related to guest experiences. Server assistants not only run food, but have a clear command and knowledge of our menu. Duties include setting up and closing down the restaurant, water service, polishing, bussing and resetting tables.
Full-Time or Part-Time | Hourly wage + tip share.
WHO YOU ARE:
16 years of age or older
1+ year of restaurant or hospitality experience
Flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays (we’re closed Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Quick, organized, and calm under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
Curious about food, drink, and hospitality—eager to learn and grow
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Support servers by running food, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining flow on the floor
Set up and close down the dining room with care and consistency
Keep water glasses full, coffee hot, and guests happy
Polish glassware, silverware, and serviceware to standard
Communicate seamlessly with the kitchen and service teams
Uphold cleanliness, organization, and Butcher & Bee standards throughout every shift
