About the Role:

Okto Mediterranean is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Server Assistant/Expo to join our team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:

Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests accurately and efficiently

Expo dishes from the kitchen, ensuring proper presentation and order accuracy before delivery

Communicate clearly between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow

Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment

Restock service stations with necessary supplies including linens, utensils, and glassware

Assist with running food during high-volume rushes to support the service team

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and expo line throughout each shift

Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time

Positive attitude and a guest-first mindset

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
