  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Server Assistant you'll provide support to the serving staff to ensure daily efficiency within the restaurant. It is a high priority to keep communication very clear and open throughout the Front of House team including management to uphold the standards set out by the leadership team.

    • Collaborate closely with Culinary staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests' tables.
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and inquiries promptly and professionally
    • Ensure robust knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu offerings along with staying current on any menu changes/updates.
    • Refill water glasses as needed throughout service.
    • Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
    • Remain in compliance with federal, state, and local food service regulations.
    • Assist with setting tables by ensuring accurate placement of placing appropriate plateware, utensils, glassware, silverware, decorations, and napkins.
    • Support the serving staff by helping with bussing tables and refilling beverages as needed
    • Work efficiently to enhance the overall dining experience for our patrons
    • Clearing plates, glassware, and silverware throughout service as needed.
    • Follow food safety protocols and handling procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene
    • Any other duties as assigned

    Rate: $15.50/hr + tips

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
    • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
    • Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety regulations
    • Willingness to assist team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations
    • Familiarity with kitchen operations and terminology is a plus
