Job Summary
Servers at Kuza embody precision, grace, and genuine hospitality. This role requires deep menu knowledge, cultural understanding, and the ability to create a warm yet refined guest experience. Servers guide guests through the dining journey, offering insight into Japanese-inspired cuisine, craft cocktails, and unique ingredients while ensuring every interaction feels personal and elevated.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hospitable service that reflects Kuza’s hospitality standards.
Guide guests through the food and beverage menus with confidence and cultural awareness.
Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with all teams.
Present dishes and beverages with poise and understanding of key ingredients and preparation methods.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all menu items, allergens, and modifications.
Handle guest concerns professionally and involve a manager when necessary.
Complete all side work & opening/closing duties with consistency and care.
Collaborate with teammates to maintain flow, efficiency, and cleanliness throughout service.
Represent Kuza with pride and uphold its standards of excellence.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of serving experience in upscale or fine-dining settings.
Strong knowledge of Japanese or Asian-inspired cuisine, sake, wine, and cocktails preferred.
Excellent communication, timing, and multitasking skills.
Professional, calm, and detail-oriented demeanor.
Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card and Liquor License required.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
