As a Server, you'll be the face of our brewery, providing outstanding service to guests in our taproom, outdoor patio, and event spaces. You'll educate patrons on our beer selections, serve food and drinks, and ensure a memorable experience that keeps customers coming back. If you love craft beer, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy interacting with people, this role is for you!

    Key Responsibilities:

Beer Knowledge and Education: Learn and share details about our rotating beer selections, brewing processes, and seasonal specials. Conduct tastings or brewery tours as needed to enhance the guest experience.

Order Management: Use POS systems to process orders, payments, and tabs efficiently. Handle cash, credit cards, and tips responsibly.

Food and Beverage Preparation: Assist with basic bar tasks, such as pouring drafts, mixing simple cocktails (if applicable), and plating food items from our kitchen or food truck partners.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized serving area, including tables, bar tops, and glassware. Follow health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation and age verification for alcohol service.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, events, or festivals.

Upselling and Promotions: Promote daily specials, merchandise (e.g., growlers, apparel), and loyalty programs to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

Compliance: Adhere to all local alcohol service laws, including checking IDs and monitoring for responsible consumption. Report any incidents or issues to management promptly.

Additional Duties: Assist with setup and breakdown for events, inventory checks, or light stocking as needed.

    Qualifications:

Experience: Previous serving experience in a restaurant, bar, or brewery preferred; entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills will be considered.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Basic knowledge of craft beer (or willingness to learn) is a plus.

Certifications: Valid food handler's card and alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., kegs or trays), and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment.

Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 21+ years of age.

Personal Attributes: Outgoing, reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and craft beverages.

    What We Offer:

Competitive hourly wage plus generous tips.

Employee discounts on beer, food, and merchandise.

Opportunities for growth, such as increased hours or advancing to a shift lead role.

Fun, collaborative work environment with team events and beer education sessions.
