Responsibilities: • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Compensation: $14 per hour plus tip pool
