    About the Role

    New LGBTQ bar / lounge / restaurant in Downtown Santa Ana, QUEENS LOUNGE is hiring all positions! Queens Lounge is looking for a friendly, polished, and hospitality-driven Server to join the team. This role is responsible for guiding guests through their food and beverage experience, taking orders accurately, delivering attentive service, and helping create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.

    We are looking for someone who is service-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced lounge environment.

    Responsibilities

    Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service

    Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

    Enter orders into the POS system correctly and handle payments as needed

    Guide guests through menu options and make appropriate recommendations

    Check on guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction and anticipate needs

    Upsell food, cocktails, wine, beer, and other featured items when appropriate

    Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately

    Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and guest-facing areas

    Communicate clearly with bartenders, runners, kitchen staff, and management

    Assist with opening setup, side work, cleaning, and closing duties

    Help maintain service standards, hospitality standards, and overall flow of service

    Resolve minor guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed

    Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies

    Qualifications

    Previous serving experience in a restaurant, lounge, bar, or hospitality setting preferred

    Strong communication and guest service skills

    Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment

    Team-oriented attitude and professional demeanor

    Basic math and cash handling skills

    Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

    Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in California

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

    Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

    Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly during service
