The Role
We're hiring part-time Servers to deliver standout hospitality in a fast-paced taproom environment. As a Server, you're the face of SBC — guiding guests through our beer lineup and food menu, keeping energy high, and making sure every table leaves happy. Pay is minimum + tips, which can be substantial in a high volume environment like here.
What You'll Do
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service from start to finish
Take and enter orders accurately using our Toast POS system
Make confident recommendations on our rotating beer list and food menu
Deliver food and drinks promptly and maintain table awareness
Keep service stations, tables, and dining areas clean and stocked
Process payments and close checks accurately
Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and management
Follow all responsible alcohol service standards
Complete opening, closing, and side work as assigned
What We're Looking For
California Food Handler Card (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification (required by CA ABC within 60 days of hire — we'll guide you through it if needed)
Previous server, bartending, or hospitality experience preferred — but not required if you have the right attitude
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays/plates for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable evening, weekend, and holiday availability
A genuine interest in craft beer (or a willingness to learn — we'll train you)

Schedule
Part-time, approximately [15–25] hours per week. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required. Peak hours align with sports events and weekend service.
