    Job Summary As a Server at State Fare, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to $32.00 per hour based on earning potential. You;ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. You’ll guide guests through our menu, offer expert recommendations, and deliver exceptional service with genuine warmth. One must be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and love being part of a team.

    Responsibilities

    Stay current on all menu items, daily features, and any updates

    Present menus, make thoughtful suggestions, assist with drink selections, and describe preparation methods

    Maintain a polished dining experience—serving courses, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs

    Confidently open and pour wine tableside

    Ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas

    Support team efforts during special events and high-volume shifts

    Greet every guest warmly and sincerely

    Communicate menu items, ingredients, and allergy information effectively

    Commit to the highest standards of guest service and food safety

    Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or GED

    Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant

    Able to multi-task

    Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces

    Customer service focused and solution oriented

    Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

    Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs

    Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
