Duties
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to uphold safety standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and openTable reservations with precision
• Buss tables promptly, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing guest relations and seating arrangements

Qualifications:

Experience
• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
