About the Role:

Tsunami Restaurants in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for an energetic and passionate Server to join our team! Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and welcoming dining experience from start to finish

Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations

Accurately take and relay food and drink orders to kitchen and bar staff

Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring order accuracy and guest satisfaction

Monitor and attend to guest needs throughout the meal, including refills and additional requests

Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining floor

Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Previous serving or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude

Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Basic math skills and experience handling cash and POS systems

Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time

Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and cocktail pairings, is a plus

Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol in Louisiana
