West End Tavern is looking for a talented, driven, and enthusiastic Server.
Servers are responsible for articulating the passion of each plate. You will be helping to create exceptional, memorable experiences for our customers during their visit. Selfless and personable hospitality should ooze from you; this is far more than serving the tables in your section, taking dine-in and to-go orders, delivering beverages in a timely fashion, managing your running side work, and resolving customer issues. You must exude ‘Southern’ hospitality, have an award winning smile, be warm, personable, detail oriented and navigate our guests' needs. Here’s the Skinny:
Full-Time or Part-Time (full-availability: nights & weekends)
Must LOVE People
Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer need
Previous experience as a server
Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials
Beer Server/Cicerone Certification is preferred, Whiskey/Bourbon/Brown spirits experience a plus
Team Service Tip Pool Model (we share tips among all hourly employees!)
Hourly wage with tips $22-$27 per hour (with opportunity to earn more!)
TIPS and/or Responsible Alcohol Service Certification (we’ll provide training!)
