Responsibilities: • Schedule appointments for service technicians • Resolve customer complaints and make follow-up calls to facilitate a positive service center experience • Leverage automotive technology and product knowledge to clearly address customer needs and share the status of service appointments • Work with the dealership auto service porter to ensure vehicles are ready for customer pick-up • Manage all automotive paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs. • Create accurate work orders, including detailed descriptions of customer concerns and required repairs. • Utilize various resources, including local parts stores, wholesale distributors, online retailers, OEM dealerships, and salvage yards, to locate and procure parts. • Obtain customer authorization for repairs. • Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work. • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicles. • Explain repairs and maintenance services to customers in a clear and understandable manner. • Prepare and present repair estimates to customers. • Process payments and close out work orders. • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services. • Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction goals. Qualifications: • A high school diploma or GED is required • A valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is required • Prior experience in a service advisor role not required but is highly preferred • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Writer (minimum 2 years). • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Compensation: $50,000 - $90,000 + Commission
