At JE Total Performance, we are a premier automotive facility dedicated to two things: meticulous mechanical repair and elite performance modifications. We believe that a high-performance machine is only as good as the foundation it’s built on. That’s why we apply a racer’s attention to detail to everything from routine factory-scheduled maintenance and complex diagnostics to multi-stage custom builds and track-ready upgrades. We are seeking a dual-threat Service Advisor and Sales Lead who lives and breathes the automotive industry. You will be the face of our shop, bridging the gap between essential everyday repair and high-stakes performance projects. You aren't just writing tickets—you are an expert consultant ensuring that every vehicle leaving our bays meets the "JE Total" gold standard of safety, reliability, and power. Responsibilities: Your mission is to manage the full lifecycle of the client experience. You will spend your day balancing the "bread and butter" of precision diagnostics and factory-scheduled maintenance with the "dream work" of high-end performance upgrades. You are responsible for educating the client, building the quote, and closing the sale. Key Responsibilities: • The Service Desk: Act as the primary point of contact for all repair and maintenance inquiries. Translate digital inspections and complex technical diagnostics into clear, actionable service plans for the client. • Performance Sales & Consulting: Turn a client’s "vision" into a reality. You will curate and sell performance packages, sourcing high-end parts and managing the sales funnel for custom builds. • Technical Consultative Sales: Act as a subject matter expert. Whether a client needs a factory 60k-mile service or a custom-tuned suspension setup, you provide the data and confidence they need to pull the trigger. • Profitability & Estimating: Build accurate, profitable quotes for both standard mechanical repairs and high-level modifications. You are responsible for hitting gross profit targets and managing labor margins. • Project Scoping: Develop detailed estimates for performance builds and standard services, ensuring profitability while maintaining our standard of excellence. • Logistics & Sourcing: Track down high-performance parts, manage vendor relationships, and mitigate supply chain delays before they impact the client. • Client Advocacy: Own the relationship from drop-off to delivery. You provide "white-glove" communication, delivering updates with transparency and technical authority. Qualifications: • Deep Automotive IQ: You must understand modern and classic vehicle systems deeply enough to "talk shop" with master technicians and enthusiasts alike. • Project Management Prowess: Experience managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously. If you’ve used shop management software, that’s a plus. • The Finisher Mentality: You hate seeing a car sit on a lift for a week waiting for a $5 gasket. You are proactive, not reactive. • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written skills. You can deliver tough news with empathy and celebrate wins with genuine excitement. Requirements • 3+ Years as an Automotive Service Advisor • Proven Sales Ability: Experience in hitting GP (Gross Profit) and sales targets in a retail automotive environment. • Passion for the Craft: You understand that in our shop, "good enough" isn't an option. • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (you’ll be moving some high-value machinery) Compensation: $50,000 - $150,000 yearly
