    WHAT DOES A RESIDENTIAL AREA MANAGER DO?

    The Area Manager is responsible for the oversight of operations of programs that serve individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities who live in their own homes in the community. The Area Manager provides direct supervision to the team of managers.   You will lead service outcomes and teams in service delivery, responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned programs in regard to Leadership, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Financial Management and Personnel Management.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    Bachelor’s Degree in social services or closely related field; OR five years of successful full-time experience in relevant field and supervisory abilities that promote effective staff performance and relevant experience

    • Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid Certification  
    • Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check  
    • Current Driver’s license  
    • Previous successful management experience
    • Previous successful service delivery serving DDA / DSHS 
    • Working knowledge Positive Behavior Support and Individual Instruction Support Plan
