Overview
A service manager is responsible for the general management of the service department (including service technicians) as they perform basic diagnosis and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and warranty repairs. Service managers perform quality control and ensure service tickets (orders from customers for repairs or service on equipment) are delegated to the right team member based on skill level and equipment knowledge.
POSITION SUMMARY:
You would be responsible for supervising a team of highly skilled shop Tech's and directing the workflow to ensure the safety and productivity of customer vehicles & equipment. This role is managerial and handles a broad array of management responsibilities with profit and loss responsibility.
