Our Salon Concierge ensure customer service and smooth front desk operations. Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing appointments, processing payments, and maintaining client records. As the first point of contact for our clients, this critical role sets the tone for each client’s service experience.
INTERLOCKS is located on Boston’s north shore, in the heart of historic Newburyport, MA, and is nationally recognized for its first-rate beauty, wellness and medspa services provided by nearly 50 team members comprised of licensed stylists, aestheticians, massage therapists, and makeup artists, as well as a medical team of nurses and laser technicians, supported by superb customer service and administrative teams.
Qualifications:
Enjoys verbal interactions and takes pride in providing superb customer service
Possesses excellent communication skills
Is dependable, accountable, and punctual
Has ability to problem-solve, and offer solutions when appointment challenges arise
Enjoys being part of a team, but has ability to work independently through self-motivation
Previous experience in customer service or within the Salon or Spa industry is beneficial
Ability to work flexible hours as well as some nights, weekends, and minor holidays, to support the peak hours of business operations
Responsibilities
Warmly greet clients upon arrival and by phone
Optimize appointment scheduling for service providers
Handle customer transactions thought point-of-sale software
Make recommendations for services, retail, and seasonal promotions
Attend ongoing training in customer service and product knowledge
