    Summary

    Support Geiger sales efforts by performing a variety of inside sales, order entry, and administrative tasks. This involves working with sales engineers, millwrights and mechanics to receive, inspect, and quote repairs for our industrial and municipal customers, as well as tracking orders from the order entry phase through repair execution.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Demonstrate and promote Geiger’s core values (Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Personal Accountability, and Teamwork).

    Track and receive equipment to be repaired, schedule repair team for responsive and timely inspection and failure analysis of equipment

    Prepare and deliver service quotes to customers for field service or in-house repair opportunities

    Develop and execute complete and detailed lists of buyout requirements to fulfill repair requirements

    Estimate labor for service jobs.

    Purchase of materials and equipment using supplier/vendor portals and company ERP system (SAGE 300)

    Monitor direct and stock order purchasing related to customer order activity

    Communicate with customers and sales engineers as needed regarding order progress and completion expectations

    Coordinate shipment and order fulfillment with company logistics staff to exceed customer expectations

    May perform other duties as assigned

    Job Specifications

    1 to 3 years related experience and/or training

    A customer-service focused individual that successfully responds to technical and non-technical customer and employee inquiries.

    Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements.

    A well-organized and self-directed team player with a passion for winning.

    Ability to work with various computer programs including vendor based software.

    A positive, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.

    Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude

    Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
