    Service Engineer Technician

    Company: Niftylift, Inc. Location: Greer, SC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends) Full Time

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and customer‑focused Service Engineer Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aerial work platforms (boom lifts) for both customer-owned units and company stock machines. Previous experience preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of aerial work platforms and boom lifts.

    Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and cosmetic repairs in accordance with company standards.

    Complete assigned work orders efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety procedures.

    Accurately document all work performed and communicate findings in a clear, professional manner.

    Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

    Ensure repairs meet expectations for cost control, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

    Required Qualifications

    Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and electrical/electronic systems.

    Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to safely operate lift trucks.

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous machinery or equipment repair experience preferred.

    Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lifting, and lying down as needed.

    Demonstrated ability to follow direction, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.

    Compensation

    Hourly Rate: $25–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
