    Service Manager

    Elevate Plumbing Operations with Leadership Excellence!

    We're seeking a dynamic Service Manager to partner with operations leadership, scheduling and supervising service teams for timely, code-compliant repairs, installations, and maintenance in Wichita, KS (occasional local travel). Drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team growth in a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. role.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead service team: assist hiring, build schedules/priorities, complete time sheets, and supervise daily work; own on-call program and support techs

    Maximize production via capacity planning to minimize overtime; maintain 70% billable efficiency and reduce shop/downtime

    Ensure on-time job completion and customer satisfaction through on-site inspections; review paperwork and enforce documentation standards

    Develop crew with training assessments, coaching, and program recommendations; manage warranty calls to keep callbacks <2%

    Oversee inventory, truck stocking, equipment/vehicle maintenance, and safety reporting; resolve client issues with clear communication

    Coordinate data handoffs across departments; uphold professional standards including apparel, vehicle organization, and ethical practices

    Requirements

    Journeyman or Master Plumbing Certification

    5+ years plumbing trade experience with team-lead responsibilities

    Clean driving record

    Preferred

    Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software

    Proven KPIs in average ticket, closing rate, and callback percentage
