Job Summary
We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, service writer capabilities, and previous management experience.
Every day is different in our busy Sales and Service company! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including overseeing service technicians, addressing customer inquiries, and managing required documentation.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of service technicians to ensure a high level of employee morale and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability
Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
Mentor employees on best practices for improving sales and customer service techniques
Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department
Manage the flow of service department paperwork, including, invoices, quoting, repair orders, parts ordering and maintenance records.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required
At least two years of experience as an service writer or service advisor is required. Experience as a service manager is preferred
