Position Summary: To manage the service operations of the company. This includes overseeing the daily dispatching and efficiencies of the service technicians and department. Other duties include customer relations, reviewing all billing and warranty claims, interaction with the other managers in respect to their warranty and installation needs. Responsible for making sure that all service techs are properly trained. The Service Manager is expected to handle all aspects of the service department and to ensure its continued profitability and growth.
Work Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday; some weekends and evenings
Pay Scale: $75,000 base, with $100+K Target, Top Pay for Top Talent
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in Management, Service Industry
High school diploma or its equivalent
Computer skills
Ability to multi-task
Organizational skill set
Advanced customer service skills
Qualifications desired:
3 years related experience training/customer service
3 years related experience in management/service industry
Knowledge of HVAC and or Plumbing industry
Excellent verbal skills
Professional phone skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Energetic personality
Well organized and able to work independently
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Responsible for the profitability of the Service Department
Responsible for making sure Service Technicians are properly trained
Ensure daily invoicing/billing
Supervises Service Dispatcher(s) and department related staff/functions
Coordination of service marketing calendar
Plans for seasonal fluctuations through maintenance contracts
Ensuring proper detail of work performed and customer interaction
