Service Operations Coordinator
Location: Gloucester, MA (On-Site)
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour + Biannual Performance Bonus

Overview
A small industrial services contractor is seeking a highly organized Service Operations Coordinator to support field technicians and manage daily operational workflow. This role requires experience within a contractor or trade-based environment and the ability to manage multiple administrative and logistical responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and logistical support for field technicians
- Order materials and assist with procurement for service-related work
- Receive and track job materials and related documentation
- Maintain service paperwork including time sheets, reports, purchase orders, and job records
- Support compliance documentation such as insurance certificates, vehicle records, and certifications
- Utilize QuickBooks Online or similar job-tracking systems to monitor service activity
- Prepare basic service-related documentation and internal reports
- Communicate with customers to ensure smooth coordination and positive service experience
Ideal Background
- Experience working within a mechanical, industrial, HVAC, plumbing, or trade contractor environment
- Familiarity with service coordination or project administrative support
- Exposure to QuickBooks Online or similar accounting/job-cost tracking systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to operate effectively within a small team environment
