ABOUT JOB:
The Communications Assistant will be a Gather Data, in order to assess the status of the company's public image, Communications Assistants will need to regularly collect and assess data and analytics across a variety of digital platforms. Then, based on their analysis of that data, they will make recommendations for expanding or improving both public image and online presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop effective corporate communication strategies
- Assist with development materials to support marketing/planning efforts and for other departments throughout the company
- Collaborate with the sales team to hit targets
- Preserve customer data for both current and new customers
- Facilitate effective internal communications
- Track projects and campaign exposure
- Handle confidential customer information appropriately and treat it sensitively
- Respond to negative customer inquiries with the ambition of regaining customer trust
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising or similar preferred.
- Prior experience in communication or having been part of a Corporate Communication or Public Relations team is an asset.
- Strong logical and analytical skills are needed to understand the process of governing editorial and visual assets.
- Proficient with basic office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
