We’re a locally rooted appliance company focused on selling and servicing high-quality household appliances. Our work environment is relaxed but efficient, and our team values clear communication, reliability, and hard work. We’re looking for a Service Tech Manager to help keep our service department organized, responsive, and running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who understands appliances and parts, can manage a team, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to solve problems and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule service appointments
Manage and dispatch service technicians for daily routes and calls
Track technician activity, job status, and completion reports
Handle customer complaints or service-related issues with professionalism and follow-through
Oversee invoicing, billing, and collecting service payments
Order and manage inventory of parts and appliances; process part exchanges
Liaise between sales, service, and support teams to ensure smooth communication
Maintain accurate service logs and technician records
Requirements:
Prior experience managing or working with service techs or in appliance repair is highly preferred
Familiarity with appliances and appliance parts is a must
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Basic billing and payment processing knowledge
Comfortable with troubleshooting department issues as they arise
Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently and as a team
Nice to Have:
Experience using scheduling or inventory software
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Previous experience in a small-to-medium company environment
