Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. Responsibilities: • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships Qualifications: • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary Compensation: $70,000 - $120,000 yearly
