  • Responsibilities

    Full-time field role based in Kansas City, MO. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial equipment and chemical dispensing systems for foodservice and hospitality customers.

    Schedule and Workload

    • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
    • Local travel to customer sites; company vehicle provided
    • Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call rotations

    Key Responsibilities – Service Technician

    • Install, start up, and calibrate dish machines, chemical dispensers, and rinse systems
    • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues; complete on-site repairs
    • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
    • Train staff on safe operation, cleaning, and basic upkeep
    • Document work orders, parts usage, and service reports accurately
    • Maintain van stock, tools, and PPE; coordinate with dispatch and service leadership
    • Follow OSHA safety practices for electrical work and chemical handling, including SDS access and labeling under the Hazard Communication Standard.

    Qualifications – Service Technician

    • High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
    • 1–3 years in field service or mechanical/electrical repair (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical)
    • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; read schematics and manuals
    • Basic plumbing and wiring; use of diagnostic tools and service software
    • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
    • Able to lift 50 lbs; bend, kneel, climb ladders; work in kitchens and similar environments

    Preferred Qualifications – Service Technician

    • Experience with chemical dispensing systems
    • EPA 608 Type I (or willingness to obtain)
    • Familiarity with lockout/tagout and basic electrical safety practices
