Full-time field role based in Kansas City, MO. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial equipment and chemical dispensing systems for foodservice and hospitality customers.
Schedule and Workload
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Local travel to customer sites; company vehicle provided
- Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call rotations
Key Responsibilities – Service Technician
- Install, start up, and calibrate dish machines, chemical dispensers, and rinse systems
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues; complete on-site repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Train staff on safe operation, cleaning, and basic upkeep
- Document work orders, parts usage, and service reports accurately
- Maintain van stock, tools, and PPE; coordinate with dispatch and service leadership
- Follow OSHA safety practices for electrical work and chemical handling, including SDS access and labeling under the Hazard Communication Standard.
Qualifications – Service Technician
- High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
- 1–3 years in field service or mechanical/electrical repair (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical)
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; read schematics and manuals
- Basic plumbing and wiring; use of diagnostic tools and service software
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs; bend, kneel, climb ladders; work in kitchens and similar environments
Preferred Qualifications – Service Technician
- Experience with chemical dispensing systems
- EPA 608 Type I (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout and basic electrical safety practices
