Meet company safety policies and procedures Responsibilities: • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • Vehicle safety inspections, Road testing vehicles, Air conditioning system repairs, Diagnostic-related repairs, Replacing tires, Brake replacement, Alignments, Suspension and Steering repairs, Oil changes and fluid exchanges. • Meet company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • Possess a high school diploma or GED • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive Required Education: • Automotive Service Technician Degree preferred, not required. • ASE Certification preferred, not required. Required Experience: • The ideal team member would be self-motivated and want to work in a fast-paced environment. • Must have a valid Minnesota driver's License. • Tools required to perform automotive repairs. Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
