Position: Service Technician Manager Location: Brattleboro, VT Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Appliance Sales & Service Work Environment: Laid-back, team-oriented, medium-paced

We’re currently seeking a Service Tech Manager to keep our service department organized, responsive, and running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who knows appliances and parts, can effectively manage a team, and enjoys solving problems and streamlining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule service appointments
Manage and dispatch service technicians for daily routes and calls
Track technician activity, job status, and service completion
Handle customer complaints and service issues with professionalism and follow-through
Oversee invoicing, billing, and service payment collection
Order, track, and manage parts and appliance inventory, including part exchanges
Serve as a liaison between sales, service, and support teams to ensure seamless communication
Maintain accurate service logs and technician records
Requirements
Prior experience managing or working with service techs, or in appliance repair, strongly preferred
Familiarity with appliances and appliance parts is essential
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Basic knowledge of billing and payment processing
Comfortable troubleshooting issues within the service department
Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
Nice to Have
Experience with scheduling or inventory software
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Background in a small-to-medium business setting
