Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to perform inspections, repairs, modifications, and upgrades on large industrial/commercial doors and related equipment across the United States. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a customer-facing, travel-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and upgrades on large-scale vertical lifting, tip-up, bi-fold, and rolling industrial doors.

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Troubleshoot components and recommend solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring safety and satisfaction.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working order.

• Partner with customers to deliver professional service and support.

• Support departmental objectives and contribute to broader organizational goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications a plus.

• 5+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and construction documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer usage.

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, adapt under pressure, and maintain professionalism in diverse environments.

• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Work Environment & Requirements

• Must pass full government background checks and random drug screenings.

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 100 feet using aerial lifts and fall protection equipment.

• Flexible schedule, including extended or weekend hours, to meet customer needs.

• Up to 75% travel required across the U.S.
