    Virginia Water Systems is searching to fill one service technician trainee position immediately for the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland area and all points in between. This is a service technician trainee position. Scope includes servicing, installing, and troubleshooting various types of water filtration systems for commercial, industrial, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and medical applications. Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds up to chest level, working in a crouched or kneeling position, as well as working on a ladder occasionally. Virginia Water Systems will train, but experience in water treatment, plumbing, and/or electrical is preferred.

    Applicant must have:

    1. Good driving record

    2. Willingness to learn a variety of systems

    3. Good communication skills

    4. Strong adaptability skills

    5. Able to work alone with minimal supervision

    Starting Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

    Virginia Water Systems, Inc., was incorporated in 1988 and operates one of the few DI resin regeneration plants on the east coast. The in-house DI resin plant allows us to support our ever expanding DI rental program.

    Our clients include hospitals, dialysis treatment centers, laboratories, universities, and industrial facilities. Our current service territory includes North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, and Maryland. We provide skid and (on site installed) water treatment packages, and utilize the latest technology in filtration, deionization, water softening, reverse osmosis and UV sterilization.
