Reports To : Production Manager
** Job Purpose** : To perform home assessments and coordinate related handyman work, while occasionally executing related repairs.
** Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities** :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residential properties to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Document findings in detailed reports, including photographs and recommendations for repairs or improvement using custom CRM and other software
- Provide clients with an overview of the condition of their home and discuss any immediate concerns.
- Execute minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, replacing light fixtures, caulking, patching drywall, and performing basic carpentry.
- Coordinate schedules with clients and craftspeople to perform repairs and make small improvements.
- Communicate with clients to keep them informed and up to date on services provided.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, cheerfulness, and adherence to safety procedures
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for growth
- Other miscellaneous tasks as requested
Minimum Requirements :
- 3 years of home maintenance, home inspection, or similar role experience
- Certifications in construction, home inspection, or related field preferred
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential building systems and maintenance practices
- Basic remodeling skills needed for routine home maintenance and repairs.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to use or learn new software
- Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
- Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Have your own transportation, valid class E driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between job sites
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 50 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
