Job description:

We’re seeking an experienced Service and Warranty Technician to handle customer service calls, perform exterior repairs, and uphold our industry-leading standards in the Northern Virginia region.

This role is perfect for a roofing mechanic or exterior technician with a sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a dedication to quality craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates should live within a 30-mile radius of our Chantilly, VA office location.

Key Responsibilities

Perform warranty and service repairs on roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors, and skylights

Diagnose issues and complete on-site inspections for existing customers

Make repairs using appropriate tools, materials, and safety practices

Communicate clearly with customers and office staff to ensure smooth job completion

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and effective service

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check

Experience with exterior residential systems: roofing, siding, gutters, doors, and windows

Ability to independently operate and set up a 40-foot extension ladder

Comfortable and safe working on pitched roofs

Strong troubleshooting and leak detection skills

Physically able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment

Preferred Skills

Expertise in roofing repair: shingles, metal, membrane systems

Proficiency with siding and gutter repairs

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and customer service abilities

Tech-savvy or willing to learn mobile tools/apps for job documentation
