    ServiceMaster of Prospect and Plantsville, CT is a disaster restoration company that’s locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves as a business of integrity that helps home and business owners recover from water, fire, smoke, mold, odors, hoarding, and other disaster situations.

    We’re currently hiring Service Technicians for our Restoration team of trained professionals. We’re looking for someone who can be diligent about their role in helping salvage properties and go the extra mile to make a difficult situation less painful as possible for our customers.

    Service Technician Benefits:

    Service Technician Requirements:

    Experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or a related industry is a huge plus

    IICRC Certification is highly preferred

    Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to travel to our office in Prospect, CT (Plantsville in November)

    Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

    Ability work in a physically intensive work environment

    Nights, weekends, and on-call hours will occasionally be needed (with bonus pay)

    Willing to undergo a background / drug check upon employment

    Water Restoration Service / Production Technician Responsibilities:

    Loading the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project

    Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, clean equipment appearance, and job site

    Respectful and friendly demeanor when greeting customers

    Preparing rooms/areas for work activities

    Setting up staging areas and equipment for each project

    Taking direction from our Lead Restoration Supervisor

    Ensuring clear two-way communication with supervisor and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)

    Performing end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

    Occasional on call with bonuses

    Occasional Weekend availability
