    Job Title: Account Manager

    Reports To: General Manager

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 yr.

    Schedule: Must have a flexibility

    This Area Manager will manage housekeepers and shift supervisors in multiple facilities in the Greensboro area. This person needs to have a high level of flexibility in their schedule.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Train employees in their job according to company standards using detailed task schedule for specific accounts in which they will work as well as instruction on proper cleaning techniques and chemical usage.

    2. Ensure that employees know, understand, and follow company rules, procedures and guidelines as directed in Employee Handbook and Onboarding Paperwork.

    3. Ensure that work, tasks, and projects in each account are performed as per the task schedule and are completed to meet or exceed customer expectations.

    4. Provide support to employees as needed to help them be successful in their positions.

    5. Be willing to assist in performing cleaning tasks as needed when short-staffed or other circumstances arise.

    6. Ensure that all accounts and employees in each account have the proper supplies and equipment for accomplishing the tasks required.

    7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills through both written and oral communication with employees, peers, and ServiceMaster managers and owners. Be able to easily communicate through emails, texts, and other written forms.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage shift supervisors are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned accounts. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including training shift supervisors and employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and performing cleaning tasks and projects as needed.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, internet software and Email.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2-4 years janitorial experience.

    Certificates and Licenses:
